JINR science at the TASS exhibition

TASS has included work of JINR scientists among the most significant discoveries in 2015.
On 8 February 2016, the Day of Russian science, an exhibition of scientific illustrations “Come closer. 24 shades of Russian science” dedicated to research and achievements of Russian scientists in 2015 was opened in front of the main TASS building in Moscow. TASS and the editorial office of the «Cherdak» portal included research projects, carried out by JINR, into the list of the most significant discoveries of the past year.
Among the major scientific news in 2015, the exhibition presented establishment of the deep-water Dubna cluster of the Baikal-GVD neutrino detector, which began its work in the Lake Baikal, as well as the discovery of pentaquark and a number of CERN achievements, where JINR played an important role. Moreover scientific news from other research centers are displayed at the exhibition.
Graphic illustration, performed by Aisha Gi, a young designer from Kazan, is used as a means of telling about the achievements of Russian researchers.
The exhibition is open until 15 March 2016 in front of the main TASS building in Moscow (Tverskoy Boulevard, bld. 2).
