On 17 February 2016, Polish staff members of JINR made reports on their research to members of the Commission of the JINR Plenipotentiary Representative of the Polish Republic.

Professor of the Warsaw University of Technology Adam Kissel came to JINR for the second time. During an interview given to a journalist of the JINR Newspaper he noted a high level of presented scientific reports and high qualification of Polish staff members. He also noted that Polish scientists implement at the JINR facilities projects which they could not realize in Poland. Adam Kissel informed about present implementation of the idea of cooperation of the University of Technology with groups from Dubna, working in international projects, for example, in Brookhaven, CERN.

Chairman of the Commission of the JINR Plenipotentiary Representative of the Polish Republic , Director of the Institute of Physics of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University Mieczysław Budzyński informed that the Commission is generally satisfied with the work of the group and the results, but considers it necessary to give some recommendations for improving the quality of work.
