The Russian Science Foundation has announced the winners of the youth competitions 2022 of the RSF Presidential Programme, as well as the project extension competition of 2019 youth groups. Four employees of the Joint Institute are among the winners.
Vladimir Zhaketov, an FLNP researcher, and Yury Malyshkin, a DLNP researcher, have won the competition 2022 for grants from the Russian Science Foundation for the event “Conducting initiative research by young scientists” of the Presidential Programme for research projects implemented by leading scientists, including young scientists.
Vladimir has presented the work “Investigation of the effect of superconductivity on the helicoidal magnetic ordering in planar nanoheterostructures based on dysprosium and holmium” for the competition. Yury has become the winner with the project “Development of a software package for full simulation of physical processes in the Baikal-GVD neutrino telescope”.
Alexey Aparin, a VBLHEP senior researcher, and Kirill Kulikov, a BLTP researcher, have won the competition 2022 for grants from the Russian Science Foundation for the event “Conducting research by scientific groups led by young scientists” of the Presidential Programme for research projects implemented by leading scientists, including young scientists.
To participate in the competition, Alexey has presented a scientific project “Measurement of thermodynamic characteristics of a dense baryonic medium formed in collisions of heavy ions at energies of 3-27 GeV”. Kirill has participated in the event with the project “Mathematical modeling of superconducting nanostructures with a magnet to study the possibilities of controlling magnetization and magnetic excitations using high-performance computing systems”.
We congratulate our colleagues on winning the competitions of the Presidential Programme and wish them further success in science!
