On 26 February, 25 years ago, it was decided to establish the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR (AYSS) at the organizational meeting in 1997. The JINR Director approved the AYSS Regulation on 14 October 1998. In honour of this date, the JINR University Centre jointly with AYSS have launched a special project.

A calendar depicts portraits of young scientists of the Institute from the JINR Member States. A pair of young researchers represents each month in the calendar. An eye on the future, drive, and passion of the scientific search have brought together these bright personalities at JINR, our joint home on the Volga river.
