The FLNP Scientific School

The 6th International Scientific School for Young Scientists and Students «Instruments and Methods of Experimental Nuclear Physics. Electronics and Automatics of Experimental Facilities» is being held in the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics JINR on 9-14 November 2015.
After a competitive selection from nearly 200 received applications, over 80 participants from Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and from 7 research and university centers of Russia came to participate in the School. The programme of the School contains 14 interesting lectures, 8 practical classes which will be held on the basis of the Scientific and experimental department of the FLNP spectrometer complex, as well as acquaintance with the FLNP basic facilities. In the frames of the school, the young scientists were invited to participate in reports contest to present their research to colleagues.
The purpose of school is to attract students and young scientists to participate in work and research at FLNP to establish the spectrometer complex of the IBR-2 reactor and to develop long-term cooperation with universities of the JINR Member States. Undoubtedly, holding of such schools contributes to the influx of young highly qualified personnel and promotion of activities of the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics and the entire Institute.
