At weekends, on 7 and 8 August 2021, the XXII Tennis Tournament will be held on the JINR Tennis Courts near the “Archimedes” Swimming Pool. The tournament is organized in memory of Venedikt and Boris Dzhelepov.

The ceremonial opening of the tournament will be held on Saturday, 7 August, at 12:00 PM. The start of the competition is set at 10:00 AM. Everyone keen on tennis is kindly invited!

UPD 07.08.21: due to the unfavourable weather, the tournament was held in the Sports Complex “Olympus” kindly provided by the University “Dubna”.

It should be reminded that the other part of JINR tennis courts located near the Cultural Centre “Mir” has been recently repaired. Their opening took place less than a month ago and was marked with a tournament dedicated to the 65th Dubna anniversary.

The event was opened by JINR Vice-Director Vladimir Kekelidze, Assistant to the DLNP Directorate Gil Pontecorvo, Head of Sector at VBLHEP Boris Batyunina, Head of the SIM Office, Chairman of the Dubna Council of Deputies Andrey Tamonov, Director of the JINR Sports Complex Vladimir Lomakin, and Chairman of the JINR Tennis Club Dmitry Peshekhonov.

9 pairs of athletes took part in the event. After the tournament, the courts opened again for everyone interested.
