On 12 June, the Russian Federation, a Member State and the location country of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, celebrates the national holiday of the Russian Federation – Day of Russia. Russia is the largest scientific partner of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. JINR cooperates with almost 190 research centres, universities, industrial companies of Russia from more than 50 Russian cities.
