From 29 February to 27 March 2020, the XXI JINR Sports Games dedicated to the 64th anniversary of JINR take place at the JINR Sports Complex.

Competitions will be held in:

• basketball (registration of teams on competition day)
• volleyball (possible to join registered teams)
• mini-football (teams already registered)
• table tennis (team or personal registration on competition day)
• chess (team or personal registration on competition day)
• weight lifting (team or personal registration on competition day)
• air rifle shooting (team or personal registration on competition day)
• archery (team or personal registration on competition day)
• darts (team or personal registration on competition day)

Moreover, everyone interested and families of the staff may pass the GTO sports norm (lit. “Ready for Labor and Defense”) in air rifle shooting and in the gym (standing long jump, shuttle run, forward bend, etc.). To pass it, it is necessary to register before the competition day on the GTO website (gto.ru) and get an ID number. A competitor should name the number to the jury before passing the GTO.

There will be two rankings in mini-football: between JINR departments’ teams and between the JINR national groups.

There will be a table tennis tournament for children of the Institute’s staff (presence of parents is obligatory).

To take part in the archery competition everyone who has not done it before should pass a preliminary training that will take place on 17 March, at 7:00 PM at the “Nauka” stadium or schedule the training with Alexander Scherbakov, ph. +7 (963) 613-26-62.

There will be a draw among teams who have registered for the air rifle shooting competition until 18 March. Teams that will register on the competition day will compete in turn.
