At the 14th meeting of the Public Council of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, a cooperation agreement was signed between JINR and the Dubna City Administration. It refers to science and education, in particular, the creation of the Moscow Regional Physics and Mathematics Lyceum named after Academician Vladimir Georgievich Kadyshevsky.

On 29 July, the 14th meeting of the JINR Public Council was held. The meeting had a format of a video conference. The agenda of the meeting included the discussion of amendments to the action plan for the implementation of the strategy of the social and economic development of Dubna science city for 2017-2020. The report was made by the Dubna City Administration.

Director of the Moscow Regional Physics and Mathematics Lyceum named after Academician V. G. Kadyshevsky Yu. P. Kurlapov spoke about the progress in the creation of the Lyceum in Dubna.

UC JINR Director S. Z. Pakuliak informed participants of the meeting about the interaction of JINR with the Dubna City Administration in the fields of education development. The signing of a cooperation agreement between the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and the Administration of the Dubna district concluded the meeting of the Council.
