The Russian Science Foundation announced the opening of the third call for grant funding applications for world-class scientific laboratories in the frames of the Presidential research funding programme.

Grants are allocated for scientific and technical projects implemented by existing laboratories in 2021-2024. The results of the research must be in demand by the economy and social sphere of the Russian Federation. Successful projects can apply on a competitive basis for an extension of the support period for another 3 years.

A special feature of the competition is mandatory co-financing of projects.

A deadline for submission of hard copies of applications is set on 20 October 2020. The results of the competition will be announced in March 2021.
