On 21-24 November 2016, the 4th Russian nationwide forum «Future Intellectual Leaders of Russia» was held in Yaroslavl. The forum is aimed at giving school students an idea where they can achieve their full potential and make good use of their talents after finishing their studies.

More than 400 talented school students from all over Russia: the winners of academic competitions and contests in scientific and technological art and natural sciences, patent owners and inventors – met at the site of the forum.

One of the events within the framework of the forum was a plenary discussion “Innovational territories – an alternative employer, as in the case of Dubna”.

From the side of the Dubna Administration S. Dobromyslov and N. Smirnov were present at the event. From the JINR side I. Slepov, Yu. Severukhin and A. Denikin participated in the forum. Young scientists communicated with school students, told them about their life in Dubna, the scientific field of JINR activity and how many people from different countries work at JINR. They also answered all the questions students had.

JINR objective of taking part in such events is to develop the interest of young people in science as well as the activities of the Institute and to attract the most promising ones to the science town Dubna in order to implement project-based work or to work on a regular basis at the JINR.
