On Monday, 23 May, on the eve of the session of the Committee of Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Governments of the JINR Member States, a regular meeting of the Finance Committee will be held.

The report by JINR Director RAS Academician Grigory Trubnikov on the latest events in the Institute’s life will open the event. Head of the Budget and Economic Policy Department Nikolay Kalinin will give a talk on the execution of the JINR budget for 2021 and draft of the revised budget of JINR for 2022. JINR Vice-Director Latchesar Kostov will present the proposal for selecting an organization for auditing JINR’s financial activities for the year 2021. Participants will learn about results of the meeting of the Working Group under the CP Chair for JINR Financial Issues held on 19 May 2022. JINR Chief Scientific Secretary Sergey Nedelko will acquaint the audience with the proposals for improving the standard regulation of cooperation programmes and grants of Plenipotentiaries of the JINR Member States. Participants of the event will listen to the scientific report by MLIT JINR Director Vladimir Korenkov “Digital platforms for JINR research projects”.

Results of the meeting will be summed up at a general discussion after which participants of the Committee will take decisions. Results of the meeting of the Finance Committee will be presented at the session of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries on 25 May.
