On Monday, 2 December 2019, the 14th International training programme «JINR Expertise for Member States and Partner Countries» (JEMS) was launched.

This time, participants of the training programme are representatives from Belarus, Bulgaria, and Russia. As a rule, JEMS programmes are held in English, but this time it is planned to hold the training programme in Russian. Another peculiarity of the present JEMS is that a significant part of its programme is devoted to the acquaintance with the Institute’s educational opportunities, in particular, the round table “Megascience at JINR: opportunities for universities” is planned.

Following the tradition, the official start of the training programme was given in the JINR Visit Centre. Participants shared their impressions of the acquaintance with JINR at the working lunch at which JINR Vice-Directors B. Yu. Sharkov and R. Lednický welcomed them.
