The JINR Publishing Department issued the brochure “Fascinating transformations of neutrino” dedicated to the birthday of Vyacheslav Georgievich Egorov (02.10.1953 – 07.07.2019). The authors are Yu. A. Shitov, V. B. Brudanin and M. V. Fomina.

The bright and exciting history of neutrino studies is presented in a simple way, sometimes even humorously. The authors aimed to demonstrate the role of the scientist in scientific discoveries.

The brochure tells also about the DANSS neutrino experiment the initiator and head of which was Vyacheslav Georgievich Egorov. The last chapter presents top-ten scientific tasks of neutrino physics the solutions of which may win the Nobel Prize.
