On 18 November 2016, in Krakow (Poland) an opening of a meeting of the JINR Finance Committee chaired by Director of the Department of Finance of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation A.V. Zarubin was held. The meeting of the JINR Finance Committee and a session of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries of the Governments of the JINR Member States which will determine the main outlines of the development of JINR in 2017-2023.

The programme of the Finance Committee includes: a discussion of plans for research activities and priorities of the JINR budget policy in 2017, as well as the main directions of strategic development of JINR for 2017-2023. The Seven-Year Plan for Development of JINR for 2017-2023 will be considered, as well as the draft of the JINR budget for 2017 and a draft of contributions of the JINR Member States in 2018, 2019, 2020.

The milestones of the October meeting of the working group under the CP Chairman on financial issues of JINR, as well as the audit results of the JINR financial activity of 2015 will be summarized.

A general discussion and adoption of decisions will conclude the meeting of the JINR Finance Committee on 19 November.
