For the City Day celebration, JINR is opening a permanent exhibition dedicated to the Joint Institute in the Dubna Museum in the building of the Bolshaya Volga station. JINR Director Grigory Trubnikov announced it. The exhibition “Hall of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research” will open on 29 July and will be available to everyone until 1 September 2023. The opening of the exhibition starts at 6:30 PM.
Congratulating citizens and guests of Dubna on behalf of the JINR multinational team, Grigory Trubnikov highlighted that the exhibition would be the first event of the JINR additional programme to that of the International Year of Basic Sciences, one of the organizers of which is the Institute. The large-scale global project is aimed to increase the importance of basic sciences for sustainable development of our civilisation. “We also would like to contribute to the development of Dubna as a tourist centre, which positions itself as a city of science and high technology. I am convinced that Dubna has a bright future, we wish the city further prosperity, and its citizens good health and well-being,” the JINR Director said.
Happy birthday, beloved Dubna!
