1 January marks the Day of the Establishment of the Slovak Republic, a Member State of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.

Slovakia (earlier as part of CSR, and since 1993, as an independent state) has been participating in JINR activities since its foundation. This country is holding different JINR conferences and workshops. 14 scientific and technical organizations and educational institutions cooperate and keep in touch with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.

Young Slovak scientists are participating in the educational programmes of JINR.

The Institute’s Directorate congratulates Slovak colleagues on the Day of the Establishment of the Slovak Republic and wishes them and their families good health and well-being, successful work, scientific achievements and discoveries for the benefit of science and progress!
