A ceremonial reception of Mayor of Dubna Sergey Kulikov was held in the JINR Scientists’ Club in July dedicated to the Сity Day. The Mayor together with Chairman of the Dubna Council of Deputies Andrey Tamonov presented merited awards to outstanding residents of the science city. One of them was a JINR employee Mikhail Kapishin.

Mikhail Kapishin, the Head of the Department of the Baryon Matter Investigations at the VBLHEP Nuclotron, received a Commendation from the Governor of the Moscow Region. Along with Mikhail Kapishin, a Commendation from the Governor was given to Gennady Koltin, an employee of the Scientific Research Institute “Atoll”.

The Commendation from the Governor of the Moscow Region is given for high professionalism and significant contribution to the development of industry, agriculture, construction, transport, science, education, healthcare, culture, sport, and other fields of work.

Among awards given on that day to the residents of the science city were a badge of honour “For Services to Dubna”, a certificate of honour from the President of the Russian Federation, a note of acknowledgement of the Governor of the Moscow region, a certificate of merit from the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Region, a note of acknowledgement from the Ministry of the territorial policy of the Moscow Region, a certificate of honour and a note of acknowledgement from the Moscow Regional Duma, a certificate of honour from the Head of the Dubna City Administration.
